1967 Shelby GT500
A 1:1 scale model study of the iconic 1967 Shelby GT500 with a completely optimized mesh topology and cinematic lighting pass.
Create an authentic, 1:1 scale reproduction of the legendary 1967 Shelby GT500. The core goal was achieving photographic realism in surfacing, aerodynamics, and curves while delivering a fully optimized polygon budget suitable for real-time visualization and cinematic production.
Drafted against 1:1 blueprints and factory archival references to lock accurate vehicle proportions. Surfacing panels were crafted with sub-d quad flow to ensure pristine curvature and reflection continuity without pinching. Textured with multi-layered automotive clear-coats in Substance Painter, and rendered with custom studio HDRI and cinematic camera choreography in Marmoset / Blender.
Delivered a scale-accurate automotive model featuring dense wireframe breakdowns, realistic clear-coat materials, and a rendered cinematic animation breakdown.
Case Study
1:1 Scale Model Study & Blueprint Drafting
The study began with 1:1 scale blueprints and technical drawings to replicate the iconic 1967 Shelby GT500 silhouette with zero distortion. Every characteristic curve, from the elongated hood scoop and aggressive front fascia to the dual-intake quarter panel scoops and rear ducktail, was matched to authentic vehicle specifications.

Completely Optimized Topology & Wireframe Breakdown
The geometry was modeled with quad-dominant topology, strict edge flow, and optimized poly distribution. High-density edge loops were focused around compound curves, headlamp assemblies, and custom multi-spoke wheels, ensuring seamless shading and artifact-free reflections under all lighting conditions.

Cinematic Rendering & Lighting Breakdown
A cinematic sequence was choreographed and rendered with dynamic studio and mood lighting to showcase the vehicle's form, metallic paint depth, and reflective clear-coat finish.
